Alan P asked: This is a Briigs & Stratton 18hp cast iron flywheel. I have removed them before but this one is stuck tight! I have the retaining nut off, tried a gear puller to the point of fear of damage, I’ve heated it with the puller on, while banging it with a 2lb hammer!! Any tip or trick is welcome! I’m soaking it now with wd40. Should I try drilling out the flywheel key? Thanks in advance!!!!!

I pulled the idler arm out, made sure the mowing button was turned off and that the transmission was in forward drive. And to top it off, its about to rain.So I Could use some mechanically inclined man to answer this please.

Idiot23 asked: I’ve doen something idiotic. Was mowing the lawn for an elderly relative and in an early morning stupor put motor oil in a half-filled petrol tank rather than unleaded petrol! Subsequently it won’t start. I was too embarassed to admit my mistake and the relative (who’s pride and joy is his lawn) is now really worried. How can I empty the petrol tank safely - and will any damage have been caused by the motor oil?

Bob the Boat asked: Hi,
I know it sounds totally daft, but me and a mate used lead plates hung off the end of a lake jetty, connected to the frame & HT lead of a lawnmower.
I shoulted “PULL” as a pike went past the plates, Dave duly pulled on the starter rope, and said fish floated to the surface.
Oh we let it recover, and returned it, but any other daft ideas about catching fish ?
