The recoil starter is under spring tension and could be dangerous if not handled correctly when working on this item. The spring must be prewound, the rope inserted, and handle tied in. All while holding the spring back and down. If your hand slips, you could be injured. (cut or possably broken fingers) Something for someone who is expert at this repair, for sure!
