It will probably kill the mower. Go to a rental center and rent something more heavy duty. Raise the wheels and the deck as high as possible. Go slow and when the mower starts to bog down lift the mower slightly off the ground to allow the grass room to move from the blades. The easiest way to cut grass this high is with a bush hog. If you are in an area where there are farmers ask one of them about cutting it down for you. Good luck!
