My mother in law left hers out all winter long, should I expect that it still works?

Ouch! It may have a hard time depending on how bad the electrical contacts have rusted. It may be a quick fix with a piece of sandpaper. Test it first, Good Luck

Make sure it is completely dry when you try to turn it on! Odds are it is broken if it was left out all winter.

make sure it’s completely dry.and before you plug it in turn the motor a few times by hand.it should turn freely if it’s stuck it’s not going to work.hope this helps.
