John asked: I started the lawnmower up this spring and it had very little oil left in it. It ran for a few minutes, then I heard a bang bang bang and it just stopped. Now what do I do? Can I just add more oil and it will start again? It is a Toro 4-cycle 6.5 hp push mower.

I am not sure wether it is left or right hand thread although the blade turns clockwise I would tend to think it should be left but I have been told that this is not always the case.
