Before you put the Spark plug back in, spray 1 shot of Engine starting fluid into the hole where the sparkplug came from. Put the plug back in with proper tightness, then shoot in 5 shots of Engine starting spray into the fuel tank. Works to start ur mower fast. Go to your auto parts store and get Engine starting fluid spray

Open up the air cleaner and add a couple of drops of fresh gas directly into the carburetor opening. Do not prime the engine, just start it up and let it run until it stops. Then do the same thing until it keeps on running. It will smoke some while the oil burns off, but don't worry about it. Once the engine keeps on running and doesn't stop by itself anymore, shut it off and let it cool. Then take the spark plug out and clean it and put it back in and you should be good. Try to drain as much as you can. See if you can open up the carberator and clean it out. It won't hurt it, just make it hard to start. You'll get allot of smoke when it finally does start. Swish some gas in the tank, dump gas out. Fill with fresh gas & run away. A little residual oil will only cause some smoke. Be sure to drain the fuel line as well. Just dump the gas out. If you attempted to start it you will need to clean / replace the gas lines and possibly the little red / yellow button that your prime the tank with.
