How can I convince my mom to get a new lawnmower?
Our current lawnmower is over 10 years old, you have to pull it AT LEAST 15 times before it starts, when it starts, it smells terrible, is real loud, and shakes a lot. When cutting grass, it fills up after walking 20 feet. It sucks in general, both my dad and I hate it, but my mom won’t let us get a new one. How can I convince her that our current one needs to be replaced?

well you could always go and break something thats really hard/exspensive to fix and tell her it did it b/c it is old.

Don’t bother with the old mower. Let the grass grow til she can’t see the lawn for the grass….hee hee. Maybe then she will figure it out.

Maybe leave it out at night and the next day you wake up and its gone. Get rid of it and say someone must have stolen it.

Put pictures of lawnmower ads on the refrigerator. Try to insert the word LAWNMOWER as much as possible into conversations. Act weak and pitiful after everytime you mow the lawn.

1. Bust a cap in the lawn mower
2. Let the grass grow very long
3. Tell her that you will help with some of the cost of a new one
4. When you are out mowing the lawn (make shure she sees you) put a smoke bomb on the mower and light it then turn the mower off.

Find a piece of metal like a tire iron or fence post. Pound it into the ground then next time you mow be sure to let the spinning blade hit the buried metal. This should bend the shaft or break the mower. Then mom will see that a new one is needed

Replace the plug
Sharpen the giro-blade
Replace air-filter
Regulate the carburator
Restrain cutting in the morning dew
After you did all this, lawnmower will probably improve - but if not, spray water-cans of round -up and then make a concrete platform-
