Flashlights and batteries. Most lawnmower engines don’t generate enough electricity to power a light.

    duct tape flashlights to lawnmower

Put a photo sensitive light on your house or garage so that it comes on if you are out there if that is where you are cutting the grass.. I have never heard of anyone rigging lights on a lawnmower.

been there. rechargeable battery and clamps cause you will find that you will need to remove it, vibration is a problem . also try putting something on the end of the cuts so that you can get an impression of where you are going. house mounted lights give you glare and shadows.

If its not electric start…. then it has no stator to power headlights off the engine…… so either use a mower battery to power two 12 volt lamps, and recharge it….. or go the flashlight route.
