I WOULD guess that u are not getting gas. you probably need to clean to clean your fuel line.

I say, two-hundred-fifty pounds, at least five horsepower,
    - AND - thirty-six inch steel blades capable of moving at two-thousand revolutions per minute. Warranty comes to mind, maybe having a technician fix it? Home owners insurance? And really, how much could it cost to be life flighted to the emergency room with a severed limb? Pass me the torque-wrench, I’m getting online to ask how to fix it!!!

i assume you are setting the speed on high (or rabbit) and that you are keeping the handle latch pulled all the way towards the handle bar. if you let off the handle latch, the motor will kick off for safety reason. else follow above user’s instructions.

keep putting gas in it until the gas runs out oh well.

No doubt about it, the carburetor is clogged and must be taken apart, thoroughly cleaned, reassembled, and replaced. But clogged carburetors are not covered by warranty. Be prepared to pay for this repair. Sorry!

try spraying carb cleaner in it and keep priming until it clears out. if it dont, then carb must be removed and cleaned. also, when did you run it last? could be shellac if left idle for a very long period.

clean the carb with chem-tool. change the air filter, also check the fuel line to see if it is stopped up.

There is an obviouse fuel starvation problem somewhere. Follow the throttle cable, (move it up&down) see if it moves properly. This could be kinked somewhere, and causeing the problem. You can move the cable (check it) in two ways One,Check the speed throtle, usually has a rabbit on it, or arrows up and down. You will notice the carburator adjusting on the mower if it is working. Two. The safety handle, when it is fully pressed, you will notice a cable, check to see it is taught and connected. Another thing you can check is inside the fuel tank on the mower, there is a filtre, you can see it with a flash light, check to see it is not pluged with grass etc. None of this works, check the fuel lines for a fuel filter,it will be plugged. The carberator is not needing repair, or it wouldn’t start when you prime it! So, you have a fuel starvation problem. Shouldn’t be to hard to track. Good Luck

If you only have had it for 7 months, take it back to Sears and have them fix it under warranty. That is part of why there is such a thing as a warranty.
