Avoid blowing the grass clippings into the area that you haven’t mow’n yet.
Slow down, take a thinner pass, make sure the grass is dry when you cut. Godsproblemchild

1. Cut less at a time. This means either move the deck up, or mow more often.
2. DON’T mow wet grass. Wet grass sticks to the sides of the mower and the chute. This is the #1 cause of the chute clogging.
3. There IS something obstructing the chute EVERY time. You just don’t ’see’ the GRASS CLIPPINGS. STEVEN F

the grass is too wet, or/and too long. it’s usually the wetness that will cause that. if the grass is to long, make a pass at only half of the mowers front. it will take longer but you’ll have less clogging.
another thing you can do is if the grass is too long, set the mower at it’s highest point so that it will take you double the time to cut the grass. once you cut it once. then lower the mower to cut the second time. adam/penny
