How do I turn a Lawnmower engine and a 10 speed bike into a motor-bike?
A while back I saw a guy who had actually done this;he was fueling up at a gas station.I imagine it’s much the same as making a motorized go-cart but I don’t know how to do that either. If you know of a starter site that would be awesome. Thanks!Joe

Lawn mower may be too big…
I would go for a weed whacker motor.
You need some type of centrafugal clutch and a chain sprocket on the motor.
Also some means of welding. Chris R

A lawn mower engine will give that bike a lot of power! A weed wacker engine will be ok but a small 3.5 hp lawnmower engine would be awesome. Hell even a 5 would be kicken. annamichele9

A regular lawnmower engine is going to be bulky as mention above, you may want to consider a Weedeater and you can buy a new weedeater for $80 and rob the new engine.
I remember when there were these Mini-Bikes, sort of a small motorcycle for kids and it used a Horizontal lawnmower engine. Many people would build their own with the help of a person with a welder.
I found some links, but, not great. I think looking at pictures and such will help give you ideas.
I want to make an electric using a small starter motor, but, I looking at Battery Bulk. I can try a Riding Lawnmower Battery, but, I not sure how long it go before needing a recharge.
I hope the answer above has some good links for you. Good luck and enjoy your project. snagelfritz
