You have new rope in it?
You never gave brand, this is really important….. but usually you wind the rope around the pulley first, use tape to hold it in at the end, put it in and connect it to the spring, use the pulley to wind the spring up till it gets a good wind to it, hold the pulley down while you pull the cord out the hole, tie a knot on it, then secure the assembly down…

Undo the knot (hold onto it good!!) and pull it through the handle and tie a knot on the end to hold the handle on…. 572ci.
