		<description>Do a belt drive instead.with a tightener pulley to get it going. If the 12 HP has an rpm of 2200 and the wheel is 6' all the way around.you will get 6' x 2200 with a 1 to 1 ratio pulley system.
But you also want some power.
I would do a 5 to 1 back ratio pulley being the bigger pulley  The would give power / faster starts and a top speed of about 30 to 40 MPH

You can always change the pulley ratio to change top speed.
