How much income tax does a professional lawnmower pay?

lawnmower
naphtli asked:

The cost per household for illegals in 2006 was $3080 in social services.

The average illegal household produces 28% of the taxes produced by citizens in general.

The government paid $2.8 billion in Medicaid, $2.5 billion in treatments for the uninsured, $2.1 billion in food assistance, such as food stamps, $1.8 billion for prison costs, and $1.6 billion in aid to schools to educate illegals.

Almost $11 billion dollars just in federal aid, this doesn’t incorporate local state and community costs.

The latest estimate has around 12 million illegals in the country. This breaks down to about $900 per year per illegal.

Would taxes they pay, when they pay, come even close to denting the cost of their services?

If people want to whine about excessive government spending, why not start with the $11 billion+ that we waste supporting people who aren’t our responsibility and who have broken our laws?

    Bingo!!

For some reason, logic (the cost of illegals and the fact that their actions are ILLEGAL) is not winning the day with this situation. We’re being inundated with all the reasons these people HAD to break the law. It’s all hogwash. They broke the law for their own personal benefit, and law-abiding American taxpayers are - as usual - footing the bill.

And when taxes and service fees go up, as they inevitably will with the drain caused by illegals, the people who pay the heaviest price are the poor and the middle class. When the gas tax goes up (currently 50 cents a gallon in some states), do the illegal-apologists and supposed poor-advocate Democrats think that hurts the wealthy? It’s a drop in the bucket for them, but it’s a huge blow to the working class. It’s time for fast-talking politicians to start working for the working class - and that includes NOT coddling illegal aliens. Farly the Seer

  6. DAR Says:

That doesn’t take into account local costs for education, just the minimal federal supplement.

It costs $18,000 to educate a child for one year in California, and more if it is a child needing ESL education. You do the math.

And no, we subsidize the bulk of cost of education and other services for poor people in this country. That is why we limit the amount of poor people who can come. DAR

Probably none as he’s paid off the book but if he did file it would still be close to none because most of his income would be excluded.

Your point is well taken in that they get more out of the system then they put in and that is not fair to all of us real tax payers. remmo16
