And no, we subsidize the bulk of cost of education and other services for poor people in this country. That is why we limit the amount of poor people who can come. DAR

For some reason, logic (the cost of illegals and the fact that their actions are ILLEGAL) is not winning the day with this situation. We’re being inundated with all the reasons these people HAD to break the law. It’s all hogwash. They broke the law for their own personal benefit, and law-abiding American taxpayers are - as usual - footing the bill.

And when taxes and service fees go up, as they inevitably will with the drain caused by illegals, the people who pay the heaviest price are the poor and the middle class. When the gas tax goes up (currently 50 cents a gallon in some states), do the illegal-apologists and supposed poor-advocate Democrats think that hurts the wealthy? It’s a drop in the bucket for them, but it’s a huge blow to the working class.
