How to make a lawnmower to run 35-40 miles per hour?

Put it in a pickup truck and take off… Really, sounds very dangerous, because the mower has a high center of gravity, which makes it top heavy…… rick29148

1. strip all of the extra crap you don’t need off of it to reduce weight. (all but frame and seat… which needs to be repositioned.)
2. take the governor off of it.
3. get a turbo for it… no.. im not kidding.. they do make them.
4. get nitros for it… yes they make that too..
you have a high likelihood of blowing up your engine with #3 or #4 and 3 OR 4 are fine you don’t need both…
Depending upon the horsepower of the motor, you could potentially really haul ass with it. lots of go carts use those motors and top out between 60-100 with the right stuff in them..
you can also to as far as to have an expansion chamber made for it to accept a larger bore piston, and can get a tuned pipe made for it
lets put it this way…
18hp motor.. lets say its 150cc i don’t know.
expansion chamber makes it 200cc =25hp
tuned pipes make it 400cc (sorta) = 50hp
nitros adds about 1.5 so 75hp
turbo puts it at 100hp … take the governor off and you can do about 1mph per horsepower.
the REAL question is,
HOW YOUNG DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU DIE!?
p.s. with all the money you’d spend on this to do what i just said… you may as well buy a bad ass go kart with a damned kawasaki ninja motor in it…. they have them……
that or buy a motorcycle.. at least motorcycles are street legal Mitch
