The majority of mowers height adjustment is in an upward direction to leave your grass a little taller.
Move the lever (or knob, etc.) UP so you don’t cut your grass too short. When grass is cut too short, it allows the summer sun to scorch and burn both blades and root.
You should have an arrow showing which way you adjust the height..I am surprised the manual doesn’t say?..humm..I would read it again…something tells me that you may have overlooked it, as it’s easy to do…but, your adjuster should go up..and if it’s the wheels?..bring them up to the tallest height that you are wanting…Hoping that this helps..if not, I would say get your phone book out..look under gasoling engines, you should find a list of sales and services dealers in your area…Call them and ask if you can speak to a tech…A tech doesn’t mind helping you out….

You must move the wheels down that well make the mower body move up and the blade will also move\up thus letting you cut your grass longer
