Is cured live rock enough for a LawnMower Blenny?

lawnmower

I was thinking about buying a lawnmower blenny. I set my tank up about 4 weeks ago. Does anyone know if cured live rock is enough for it to munch on for food or should i wait until the tank is better established?

if your rocks aren’t growing algae yet then you need an algae based pellet or frozen food for him, personally id wait

this is tough because i had a algae blenny and it would not eat anything else. The thing is you might need to have the tank be more established. The general rule is around 8 months under power compacts to have a good established reef tank where you have algaes, coralines, copepods etc.
