is it ok to wax a lawnmower?

i know it sounds stupid but i like making things shine! like is it ok to use car wax like the synthedic kind on a blk lawnmower? thx!
also if for a push lawnmower lol

    eh? Never heard of somebody doing that, but I don’t see how that could harm a lawnmover. of course, I go by the motto “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

    Yes i think so, but furniture polish would work a lot better. We use furniture polish on our mowers and they always look shinny and clean.

    Sure. Keeping your lawnmower clean and waxed will help it last longer (the metal or plastic engine shell and deck anyway).
