Is there any risk of using a riding lawnmower when 6 weeks pregnant?

lawnmower

I recently found out that I am 6 weeks pregnant. I am wondering if there is ANY risk of riding a lawnmower while pregnant at this stage?? I had an US yesterday, looks fine, faint fetal heartbeat detected. I just don’t want to take any chances, but just curious if anyone has any input!

I doubt it. You are not going to bump the baby out or anything. you should be fine.

YES, there sure is, if you fell off and were run over then there is a risk, otherwise rest comfortably, there is absolutely nothing associated with a riding mower/cutting grass that will harm either you or the child.

I think it would be fine as long as you don’t stay in the heat too long and keep well hydrated. I mean if you can drive a car then why not a lawn mower, not too many accidents on those.

i know many who have used regular lawn mowers while pregnant and been fine, so i would think a riding mower would be less risky.

I think you will be fine. Unless your riding lawnmower goes like 100mph and does flips and stuff. It won’t hurt the baby to be vibrated a little. Babies are veryresiliant even inutero.
