		<description>No its not normal... (unless you have it on choke) then its normal...

If it runs fine (you can rev it up and down with no black smoke) and it doesn't go through gas like mad... its fine..
Black is a rich condition,... not oil.. oil is white/blue.</description>

As long as it doesn't smoke while running, it may just be burning off excess fuel that was left in the engine from the last time it was shut off.  That would explain the black puff.</description>
