I think it's too small of a job to pay for a pro. Can you spray it with a powerful stream of water to knock the nest off then the wasps will go elsewhere. Or use a long pole to know it off. This is how I remove small nests and I've never been stung. Just stand back as far as you can from the nest and be prepared to run a little ways. Sounds silly maybe, but it's simple and it works. Buggs

Wait until late evening when they are more than likely back inside. Wear some sort of protection and take a newspaper and (just a few sheets rolled up into a tube) and set this on fire, blow it out and let the embers smoke.....let this smoke rise all over the nest for a few, then knock it off and just run away for a minute or two. Recover your mower and cut the grass, LOL.... rob lou

I once saw someone torch a wasps nest with a blow lamp - after spraying it with something to make the wasps drowsy jay

Wear something that will protect you. Put on a hat and a peice of netting over your face, use an old net (sheer) curtain. Wear gloves and gently dislodge it into a box and quickly pop a lid on top. Then leave to one side at the bottom of the garden and in a day or two wearing the same protection go down and open the lid carefully and slighly to allow them out.
Check back a few days later to see if they have gone. bunneeze

Betcha if you start it up and just go ahead and mow, the nest will be gone and so will the wasps. Crazeddoglady

No don't get a professional! Just turn that sucker on and leave it run for a bit! They will leave! I'd knock it off. Just have long sleeves on and make sure you close to the house to get in. There can't be that many with it so small. shari
