My lawnmower will start and run a few seconds then stop. I will drain the gas from the float and it will run?

    It sounds like you need a carburetor or at least a rebuild. I think it is flooding so the float is sticking open when it should close. Jim W

    sounds like the float is stuck just rebuild the carb Jason B

    Go to then library get a book, adjust the float.
