asked: Is this a trick question because if the lawnmower is 300 newtons then the total downward force on the ground is obviously a 300 newton force!
But i’m not really sure!!

80sdreams asked: I have a TROYBILT driving lawnmower I have cleaned the airfilter
Recently changed the oil
It has plenty of gas but after about 2 hours of mowing it suddenly just dies, then when I try to restart it right after it dies it doesnt catch and start, then if I wait maybe 10 mintues it does start but eventually it kills again maybe 20 minutes later? What could this be? Anyone have any ideas? It works sometimes but then mysteriously just kills. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Towanda asked: won’t turn when just pushed forward. It will turn when lawnmower pulled backwards. What do I do to fix this?
The wheel turns forward when propelled just not when pushed. And I can pull the mower backwards and it will turn. . .just can’t push it forward.

Pixie asked: This is the first time I have used the lawnmower. The wheels were propelling for the first pass of the lawn. I pulled back a bit on the mower to turn around and now the self-propelling feature will not work. When I engage the drive control bar, I hear a faint screeching noise, somewhat like a loose belt. The mower still works but is extremely hard to push.

PittsburghBeerPong asked: We had left gas and oil in it over the winter…..have now drained and replaced gas and oil. Added fuel system cleaner also. We someone sprays starter fluid on it it runs while it is being sprayed, but stops pretty soon afterwards (so I don’t think its the spark plug). Somebody suggested to me that it is a fuel line problem and the engine is just not getting the gas. If that is so how can I fix it? Thanks!

erickever2009 asked: I was trying to start up my LawnMower. I pulled the ignition starter thing and it turned on for like 2 seconds and blew black smoke out of some hole and now it wont turn on anymore.. The fuel was about half full, i used it about 2 weeks ago, then i filled it up all the way, and still nothing. What can be wrong?

Nick D asked: Put too much oil in it and ran fine for about an hour. Then the engine started to rev very high and alot of white smoke came out the exhaust. Shut off mower and drained oil out to proper levels and the smoking stopped but even the slightest increase of the throttle adjustment makes the lawnmower rev extremely high. Any suggestions as to what my problem may be? It would be much appreciated, thanks.
UPDATE: Ran the mower even with the air filter off of it, and it still revs way too high.
