brooster asked: I went to their site and was unable to find out. I need to remove my blade and I am having difficulty because the nut is very tight. I am not sure wether it is left or right hand thread although the blade turns clockwise I would tend to think it should be left but I have been told that this is not always the case.

Jill S asked: I can pull the starter will no problem and the blade just spins making this noise. There is no resistance when I pull the cord. I mowed the front yard, thought I was hearing a weird noise from the mower. Then went to mow the back and it quit after a couple of minutes. Now this is where its at. Any advice?

Kev asked: I have a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower. The pull cord is jammed. When I pull it to start the mower, it comes out maybe 6 inches at the most then it won’t move. Subsequent attempts get hardly any movement at all. I’ve turned it on it’s side and the blade seems to turn okay. It did this a little towards the end of last summer but we haven’t really had any problems this summer so far. Any suggestions?

samantha s asked:
it only will run when the clutch is pressed in, you can change gears but when I take my foot off the clutch (which is also the brake) it dies. What could be the problem? Is there an easy fix for it?
I assume the blade is disengaged, but when you touch the handle to check it will shut off.

It’s a Murray 3.5HP….20″ blade bought in 2007. The attachments holding the top down are flat…not screws which I’d be able to simply screw off! I asked this yesterday but am waiting to see if some1 can explain how to remove the top part.

Tom F asked:
I have a Craftsman TS1000 riding lawn mower and my son ran over a large rock that damaged one of the two blades. After replacing the damaged blade, the lawn mower cuts unevenly. I put the lawn mower on a level surface and can see that the mower deck is uneven, but I don’t know how to adjust it. Can you help me?
