I bought a new battery and hooked it up backward (black cable to positive/ red to negative) to my riding lawnmower and tried to start it. It made a loud noise and now won’t attempt to start (after fixing the cables of course). Any clues on what I broke?
Fixed it. Apparently there is a dummy fuse between the battery and the rest of the important stuff to keep idiots from messing anything up if they hook it up backwards. It was just a 50 cent 20 amp fuse that blew and needed replaced.

Will the ipod nano work while it’s vibrating on a lawnmower?

OK, I might get an Ipod nano 3 gen 8 gb soon. I might use it to listen to music while on a regular riding lawnmower. I’m afraid it might break because of all the vibration. It won’t be hitting anything hard, as it will be in my pocket protected. Will the vibration hurt it at all?

why cant wont my lawnmower allow me to pull cord to start it?

I just bought the lawnmower today, i did the little patch of lawn in front of my house & started to mow the back lawn, then it just slowly faded & died. when I try to start it the cord wont pull it seem locked. I am not technically inclined, did I break it? Is it something small?? I just paid $200 for the mower.
i did read the instructions.. my father actually helped me assemble the lawnmower, he put the oil in and the gas. it doesnt have any type of switch on handles just the motor release. My father checked underneath the blades & they turn not clogged with grass.
