I ran it to burn all gas but there is still engine oil in the oil tank. Is it ok to keep it for almost 6 months? My mower also has a battery for electronic key-start. I guess I will just have to recharge it before use next time.

I drained all the oil off my lawnmower before the last Winter. Once started, the engine will now get so hot that the oil will boil and spilled out. The engine started easily and run smoothly without any smoke or knocking sound. Only that it will run at very high speed regardless I have the chock on or not. After about 1 min or so, oil started to pour out on the side of the engine. The oil is full of bubble and thin. How to find out if the oil is flowing properly.
