Can anyone recomend a good lawnmower?

I was also looking at the electric ones, because they’re supposed to be better for the enviornment. I would like that, but do they all have cords attached all the time? Are there any that just charge the battery & then you can use them? Also, I’ve heard that tehy aren’t very powerful, expecially if you have a large lawn.
