1 Yr old Lawnmower starts, runs but dies under load of cutting grass. Ran fine last week and didn’t hit anything that I know of. Cleaned the fuel tank already and the spark plug but have the above problem still. What’s the deal. Briggs & Strat 550 series.
Did the air filter, cleaned the plug, grass was mowed last week and is dry.
Nothing on crank and it doesn’t bog down it dies!

When cutting grass with the blades engaged the mower loses power and seems like it will cut out completely, it then powers up to normal speed before dying down once more? Would anyone be able to help please?

my rabit just ran under my lawnmower and i can’t get her out :(. she is under the part that cuts teh grass.Its 2 heavy 2 move so shuld i start it up to scare her out?

Have time on my hands, and see no reason to pay the overly high price people charge for yard work.

I have a straight lawn, no golf green type look, main grasss in front and only a little in the back. Don’t want expense of riding lawn mower. Want to get one easy to work. For some strange reason when young my father did not want my brother and I to mow the yard, he didn’t either?????????????????

So am starting from scratch, but this is not rocket science. A friend warned me about not getting one that you have change each wheel for lever. Basics on buying and doing appreciated, such as dumping grass, maintaining, basically what need to do.

In addition, where to buy and about how much to pay is also a question.

Any thoughts much appreicated.

from sticking as bad. Of course it must be a clean surface. I tried it & it works GREAT!

It still mows fine, except it quits adding grass to the bag and basically just starts mulching whenever the bag is even just 1/3 full. Same when the grass is wet or dry.

It’s a 6.5 Horsepower Craftsman, about 3 years old. Recent new gas, new oil, new filter, new spark. Any ideas?
