I have a murray 20 ” 4.75 hp lawnmower and it is has lost some power here recently. I have checked the oil and it is fine. Im lost. As you can see i dont know much about lawn mowers. Any ideas ?

I started the lawnmower up this spring and it had very little oil left in it. It ran for a few minutes, then I heard a bang bang bang and it just stopped. Now what do I do? Can I just add more oil and it will start again? It is a Toro 4-cycle 6.5 hp push mower.

It’s a Lawnboy 6.5 hp push mower, but nowhere on the mower does it say what ratio of oil I need for the mix. I looked on the gas cap and there is no owners manual. Used mower I just picked up.
I’m 100% a 2 stroke, that much I know. I jsut don’t know if it’s 32:1 or 50:1?

This is a brand new lawn mower Just bought it last year. It’s a yardman 6 hp. It started right away at firt. It ran for about 1 minute and died out. It will not restart. I primed it a few times, pulled the cord over and over till I almost turned blue. I’m tring to avoid taking it in to a shop to be fixed. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? I drained all the fule out of it and added fresh fuil. Oil level is good. Spark plug is conected and brand new. Thanks you very much.

I am replacing the Breather Assemby on my 5.5 HP Sears lawnmower (Briggs & Stratton motor.) How much TORQUE should I apply on these two screws holding on this breather assembly?
I have no service manual to guide this repair, so I please ask for EXPERIENCE or SERVICE REPAIR SPECIFICS in NUMBERS (value.)

i only replaced the intake manifold. does the gap from the coil have anything to do with it? its just a briggs 4 hp motor.

How big a deal is it to take a motor off your old mower and put it on another? The body has totally rusted out on my snapper but the motor is still strong. Can I use any brand base, My mower has a 6.hp Briggs and Stratton on it. Figure if I can find an old one that still is in good shape but motor sucks, I can do it….any help will be appreciated.

We have about 3/4 of an acre of cleared land that is flat and patchy. Besides mowing, we would like to use the mower to reseed our lawn. We would like to use a pull aerator and also for other small hauling jobs on our land. As far as HP, deck size, motor, brand, etc? Any thoughts will be appreciated greatly.
