I have used starting fluid a lot of times and also carbuerator cleaner in the can to on regular lawn mowers, but would it be the same for the ride-on lawn mower.

Our current lawnmower is over 10 years old, you have to pull it AT LEAST 15 times before it starts, when it starts, it smells terrible, is real loud, and shakes a lot. When cutting grass, it fills up after walking 20 feet. It sucks in general, both my dad and I hate it, but my mom won’t let us get a new one. How can I convince her that our current one needs to be replaced?

I have a lawnmower that doesnt run but yet is brand new. It has been sitting for about one year and I am sure that has something to do with it. Can anyone assist me with the steps I will need to do in order to get it running? I dont think that it will be a lot of hard work but I still need some direction. You can respond here and email me with more detailed directions if need be. milehighstar@yahoo.com.
Thanks!

thebearz asked: Problem lately after I let the lawn mower sit a few days it will not start. I pull the start chain over and over and it will not start.
Also after I mess with it, it will starts up but a lot of smoke come out of the exchaust. Not sure why or what needs to be done to fix this.
I have a toro lawn mower if that helps.
Thanks!
