JDH asked: My snapper self propelled (walk behind) lawn mower (briggs and stratton 6.0 engine) starts but barely runs(real rough) - sounds like carbuerator - either too much or too little fuel.
needs adjustment. BUT I don’t know how to get at it to adjust it.
Can you describe how to do this or else give links to manuals or other info on how to do this.
Thanks

Rifleman 4 asked:
When mower is running, the drive will stall and mower will not move forward. Can be in any speed gear. Usually mower will stop forward movement on steep grades, indicating drive belt slippage

selbrit asked:
It’s a Snapper Push-Mower, and I hit a pipe and I think I bent the crankshaft. How much will it cost to repair?
I don’t think the engine itself is damaged, because I got it to start, it just makes the whole mower shake uncontrollably (so I quickly switched it off). I think it’s just a bent crankshaft, which is causing the blade to oscillate instead of turn on center.

JDH asked:
After sitting all winter my Snapper lawnmower starts but
is running like a car engine that has a few plugs missing.
Terribly rough. I took out the plug and cleaned the contacts but no change. I had it tuned up last year.
Can a lawnmower with a bad plug run with a miss?
Any ideas?
Thanks.
