http://www.safedebthelp.com/help-me-get-out-of-debt.htmBelIblis whenever this happens to me, it usually means that the recoil unit (the spring that pulls the cord) is broke. You can usually buy one reasonably easy and cheap (I think that I have gotten mine all under $20) and they usually involve about 3 bolts and ten minutes of work.

http://www.bigjobtools.com/srch/srch.php?q=constructionSo many questions,so little time It is not a big problem but is very tricky to fix if you have not done it before. The problem when fixing it is involves the spring that retracts the cord. I have seen a couple of nasty cuts when people try working on it. I would suggest you find someone ( even a handy neighbor ) who has done it before.

http://www.safedebthelp.com/credit-debt-help.htmaj U might want to take it to a shop, or a small-engine repair secialist, but what i did was take the cover off my friends, and there was a massive tangle. (he actually had a rotten pull chord, but thats beside the point) We just untangled it and bought a new one. (auto parts store/ small engine shop). b/c urs isnt rotten (or i dont think) u may not have to buy a new one. just remember where all the parts go when u disassemble. Hope I helped! :)
