What do you do if you accidentally put gas in the oil tank of your lawnmower?

I have a Troy Bilt Model 675 Selp Propel lawmower. I accidentally put gas in oil tank. I have drained the oil tank but it still smells like gas in there. I just don’t want to ruin the lawnmower. Is there anything else I need to do other than refilling the oil tank?

    1. Get out all the gasoline you can.
    2. Fill it with the proper oil.
    3. Turn it ove by hand for a few dozen revolutions to get the new oil into the bearings.
    4. Let it idle at low speed, (low stress), to heat up the engine and oil, and
drive off any remaining gasoline as vapor.
    Do this outdoors. Irv S

As long as you drain it out and put new oil in you will be fine. Any tiny bit of gas will evaporate from the heat. Thor is a loving God Too.
