What is that (black) rubber flap just behind the lawnmower?
I have no idea what its for. Does it even serve any significance as to protect my legs from debris? or is it like a leveling device to spread the cut grass/leaves evenly across the area behind what i just mowed.

Its probably a guard so ya don’t cut your damn foot off haha.
Because when you pull it backward, getting a foot up in there is easy. Jeremy

protect you from debris.
if a tiny stone goes through the lawnmower it might get ejected towards the back and hit you. this can be painful.
pain is not a good feeling.
hence black rubber flap on the back of the laswnmower B K
