i have asked questions and some guy me to clean my air filter, should I just use air from my compressor?

If it’s a foam filter wash it with hot water and dish detergent. Let it dry thoroughly and then dampen it with clean motor oil and wring dry. If it’s paper, just replace it. Dave S
You can used compressed air. The air filter on most riding lawnmowers is under $10 so if the lawnmowers worth more then $10 id just buy a new one. Kirk L

Just buy a new one if it is oil soaked, there only about 15.00. But yes you can use air to clean as a routine maintence. good luck !! lblackvelvet
