Where can I find a tine de-thatcher that can be attached to the front of a walk-behind push lawnmower?

The only de-thatchers that I can find by web search are ones that attach to riding mowers, but I believe that I once saw one that attached to the front of a push behind mower.

Unless you wish to have a heart attack or are a horse you would never purchase an effective de-thatcher for the front of a walk behind mower. In fact, you would not use it every time you cut!
De-thatch your turf in the mid fall. This will eliminate the cuttings you made during the spring and summer. It will also allow you to provide the space needed for Fall seeding, weedcontrol, and the final late fall fertilizer.
A regular raking with a hand-held metal tined rake in the spring, a cool day in summer, and the fall will remove your thatch. If the property is large enough to support a tractor then run the de-thatch at the same times.
A better solution would be to rake( again with the steel time) and Aerate in the spring and fall. Use a core aerator that you can rent. Aerate at a three to four inch layer. Apply your lime (if needed), fertilizer, and seed after the aeration. The cores can be unsightly so you can remove them if desired.
A push mower with a de-thatch will not do the trick. You need to get to the soil surface to remove the material. Save you money and do your turf a better turn. Rake each Spring and Summer with the Old Fashioned Metal Tine rake and Aerate the turf. Hope this Helps.
