Where do I find out how long I can safely ride a 105 db lawnmower?

I have to mow our campsite every week, a 8 hours job.
I believe, I don’t need hearing protection?

Wow…Big campsite. I would get a pair of those ear protectors with the stereo in them. My friend has a landscaping business and he had a pair he wore when he mowed. He said he got them at Tractor Supply.
    They sounded really good.
Plus, I imagine they would make the day go a little faster.

According to NIOSH you can be exposed to 106 db for 3 3/4 minutes without hearing protection. Of course you need hearing protection and you should wear eye protection also. You can get hearing and eye protection at most any hardware store. Make sure that it is NIOSH approved. It will have their approval on the item. This stuff is cheap especially when compared to a lifetime of problems from not using it.
