Where is the proper place to put information on a lawnmower so that if it is stolen it can be recovered?
Where I live I have no outside storage for my outside tools, mower, etc. (I am remiding this soon) I want to make it so they are identifiable in case they are stolen. A friend told me to put my drivers license number somewhere on my mower but I don’t feel comfortable doing so. Is there anyone that has some ideas or cares to share what they have done with me?
Thanks.

Carve your name into the blade housing, handle bars, ect…. Be sure to write down any serial numbers you can find. civil_av8r

Write down any model or serial number on the machine and take pictures of it. The more info you have the better. Make and ID marks where you know where they are. The more out of sight the better. License numbers are a bad idea. If you have a visual record of the mark and where its located, makes it easier to ID it as yours. And you can take that visual info to your local mower dealers to have them keep an eye out for you. Todd B
