Electric toasters were first invented by a British company, Crompton and Company in 1893. It was reinvented in America in 1909. Charles Strite, an American, filed a patent for a timed, pop-up toaster in 1919. English engineer, Edwin Beard Budding invented the lawnmower in 1830. NotQuiteSane
