Be sure the float isn't filled with fuel, they do leak at times raising the fuel level screwing up the entire metering system. Youd better change the oil as well after cleaning the carb- im sure its saturated with gasoline- if its left in there, itll eventually ruin the motor, since itll thin out the oil and cause the motor to blow up.
