why would my lawnmower pull to the right instead of going straight?

my craftsman front-wheel drive self propelled mower pulls to the right instead of going straight. the drive wheels both turn at the same speed,the wheels are the same diameter what else would cause this?

    slippage in the drive mechanism……

    if you have a maintenance agreement, sears would fix for free…

    one side of the lawnmower may be adjusted lower than the other side

    check the air pressure to insure both have the same amount of air—sounds like right tire is low of air

    In order for the mower to go straight the toe-in must be set correctly. If it is toed-out on one side the mower will pull in that direction.

    Sounds like the left drive wheel isn’t really pulling when it is under a load. Take the wheel off and see if the gears are worn.
