Will the ipod nano work while it’s vibrating on a lawnmower?

lawnmower
samuel asked:

OK, I might get an Ipod nano 3 gen 8 gb soon. I might use it to listen to music while on a regular riding lawnmower. I’m afraid it might break because of all the vibration. It won’t be hitting anything hard, as it will be in my pocket protected. Will the vibration hurt it at all?

Well, I’ve read/heard that the nanos don’t use hard drives, so it should be pretty safe to use on a lawnmower.

yes, since the iPod uses a big memory card instead of a harddrive there is no disk to bounce around and have sloppy music play
so really, no matter how much you are jumping around, the ipod will not skip, unless you get it under the lawnmower
